You’re probably familiar with Dry January, but we’re here to invite you to participate in Sober October. The idea all started in Australia, but it’s picking up steam here in the United States and we're ready to give it a try. Similar to Dry, January, the goal of Sober October is to encourage individuals to take a break from alcohol, assess their drinking habits, and make more informed decisions for the rest of the year and the year to come. To help you out, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Seedlip to bring you a few non-alcoholic drinks to give you some great alternatives to your usual and help you get through the month.
To get you started (and ready for fall), here's Seedlip's Apple Highball recipe. So grab your highball glass and let's get started.
Seedlip Garden 108: 2 oz
Unfiltered Apple Juice: 1 oz
Lemon Juice: 1/2 oz
Maple Syrup: 1/2 oz
Soda Water: 3 oz
GLASS & GARNISH
Add all ingredients except soda water to a cocktail shaker w/ice.
Shake & strain into a chilled highball glass.
Top with soda water & add fresh ice.
Garnish with an Apple fan.
