I use these for CrossFit style lifting, so not sure how they work for yoga. Material is soft, we will see on durability for lifts and cross training. The liner is soft and stays in place, however it pulls the shorts down slightly, so the back band over the glutes has space. Could produce plumbers crack if your not on top of it. Stretch in material is good, eases movement. Like many of Rhones items, this would definitely fall in "fitted" category in any other brand such as under armor, nike, etc. As someone with well developed glutes/legs, I am unsure if the fit issues I am having are due to me needing an XL, if Rhone is going for this fit, or if they simply design their gear to be fitted on a lean/athletic build vice a more broad athletic build (so probably not for me). Waist wise, I'm a 32/33 and I have to tighten the short down a bit or they feel loose. Again not sure if that's due to fit, the liner, or if I just got a loose waist band/quality control. Pants I am a 34 in inseam (5'11) and these fall as they should. All in all I am keeping and using the short, but I probably would have contemplated potential exchange if I hadn't gotten on sale, thus precluding me from doing so. Hope this helps others, and my rating is based purely on my experiences.
