Between the Stitches: July 2022 Recap

This past month, we put a heavy focus on hydration but we were still able to bring your articles on an array of topics including everything from how to hydrate quickly, the impact of fitness on renowned musician Joe Kwon's career, ways to incorporate your kids into your workouts, a comparison of our Resort Shorts versus our Commuter Shorts, and more.

Our hope is that we offered some insight, inspiration and tools you can use as you see fit. Before we fully shit our focus into August, we’re taking a moment to reset and reflect on all that happened at Rhone this past month.

The Impact of Fitness On My Career

As a touring musician in his early 20s, for Joe Kwon, it was a distant thought that his late night meals, drinks and lack of sleep may have been impacting his overall performance on stage. While there wasn’t any one single moment that lit the fire for Joe, he came to realize how important fitness and nutrition were when it came to having longevity in his career. 

We sat down with Joe to learn more about his routine both on and off the road and how he’s made fitness a daily commitment.

Community Happenings

Fashion Island Solar Power Summer Series with Rhone and Alala

Victoria Popoff, a fitness instructor and studio owner local to Newport Beach, led participants through a 60-minute Pilates Sculpt workout that included a blend of slow, non-impact moves, with a focus on core strength and lower body burn. 

Following the workout, participants had the chance to stop by our store Fashion Island for light bites, giveaways, a DJ, photo booth, meet and greet with Victoria.

Fashion Island x TURF Workout

Another chance to train with Rhone! In collaboration with the incredible team at TURF, an active lifestyle center for private training and group training classes, we hosted another sweaty full body workout taught by a TURF instructor, followed by shopping at our Fashion Island store.

You heard it here! Local to Boston or NYC? Even if you’re just dropping by for a visit, join us every Wednesday at 6 PM for a 5K run around the respective cities led by some of our local Rhone Community Ambassadors.
