Before I write anything, I want to start by saying these are easily one of the best pants I’ve ever owned. I’ve spent the first few weeks trying to understand why I ever wore anything else. Seriously, you’ll wonder how everyone else could be getting something as simple as business casual pants so wrong.
That being said, I am now crossing my fingers that these pants last as long as they should for being $128. I am horrible with getting random stains on my favorite clothes and managed to do exactly that on my first wear. I still haven’t completely been able to wash it out, but here’s to hoping. These pants were not as slim as I had expected, compared to other brands (i.e. Public Rec) so they can be harder to dress down. Rhone definitely has all the right ideas with their apparel, and nothing seems to be an afterthought with the design of the commuter pant. I hope to be a long time customer. However, after 3 weeks in with the commuter pant, I think these would sell like toilet paper during the corona if they were closer to $100 or less.
